Invitation

HIV Positive => Psychologically POSITIVE?

Help improve wellbeing and quality-of-life in HIV/AIDS by
participating in a unique, international (Brazil-US) Fulbright research study.
We will keep you informed of our progress and the results to which your participation led.

The philosopher Nietzsche said that what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
Is this true in HIV, too?

Even nowadays, people with HIV can experience
discrimination, stigma, isolation, depression and difficulties in relationships.
The goal of this study is to produce information that can help people with HIV live better
in all ways (not just medically):
emotionally, sociallyspirituallyprofessionally, and in family and intimate lives.

Your experience living with HIV is valuable, and you are invited to join our effort!
Sometimes, a health condition like HIV can lead us to think about deeper questions of life and death.
Where will we find the value of life?
What we learn with HIV could help us in other difficult situations, wherever life takes us.

 Participation is convenient and anonymous.
It can be done online, and takes about 50 minutes of your time
(you can break it up into smaller pieces).
Some people who did the survey have said it's a very interesting, even rewarding 50 minutes.
