Nowadays, with effective treatment, people with HIV are expected to have normal lifespans and "normal" lives (well, "almost 'normal' ").  What is urgently needed in HIV these days is well-being, quality-of-life and mutual respect between people.  When people value life, they naturally act to enrich and protect it, in both themselves and others.

The Strong Hearts Project is a research project underway in the United States and Brazil.  It aims to understand how we can improve health and well-being in HIV by understanding psychological and psychosocial factors that differ between countries and between individuals.  We are working to help improve quality-of-life for people living with HIV in both countries, and beyond.

We hope that our project interests you.
We have been dedicating our efforts for some time now to it.
